Here’s my reasoning. This has been going on for hundreds of years and is a prime example of the harvesting of a sustainable resource. This is a necessary cull that keeps the population in check and maintains the correct population dynamics necessary for the seal population to stay steady, even grow slightly. Now read that article again. The fisherman are already struggling without having to compete with 6 million hungry seals. His is like their Christmas, or WSOP, or Merger. In every aspect of life, there will always be some sort of death. Mother Teresa speaks out against it, ill listen. But Paul, iv never had to kill, unearth, plant or harvest anything living in order to survive Mcartney? Gimme a fucking break! Its only because his little missus is friends with some misled animal rights activists that he’s involved in the 1st place. Piss off.

I will say that the actual clubbing of seals is not truly acceptable. They should be shot twice in orded to ensure they are certainly dead. But without this cull what will keep the population in check? We have done well to hunt to extinction their major predators, or else remove them in some other way. If the population is allowed to continue growth then without fail an epidemic will cut through the population as natures way of balancing it out. Similar to bird flu ( J see what I did).
By the way, I reckon its only a couple of hundred more years before we see sharks that are genetically adapted to solely hunting humans. All the ingredients are there already. You watch, predators behaviours adapt 1st, then they follw Darwinian rules and change genetically second. Wont be long now.
And sharks are social marine predators.
Trust me……..stay out of deep tropical water for a while, in the shallows you are more likely to get attacked but with the crowds of folks at the pikey destinations you lot go to ur less likely to get hit ;)

Ruffling a few feathers

Welcome. This is my brand spanking new blog concerned with power politics, football and general attitudes. It is my firm belief that if I can add a link to google entitled something perverse "cheergirl’s shower room camera" for example, ill get enough hits on this site to start a global campaign to get myself into power. Failing that, someone decisive that will actually make a difference.

I want to take this point to let everyone know im no racist. Iv got friends form every walk of life and every ethnicity possible. Blacks, Indians, Paxi’s, Scots, everyone. Im ½ paddy for fuck sake!!
Do you see me burning the British flag whenever anyone makes a joke about paddies being fussy eaters? No. Its not malicious, its just sick humour. Ill live with it. And I think others should do likewise.
1st thing’s 1st. Ill cover the ground in order of priority. This blog will be run like a country should. Solve the real problems like mass immigration first instead of pleasing the green brigade (I work for the Environment agency so don’t take that as an insult) and banning fox hunting. Anyone living in or around London will know that immigration is having a MAHUSIVE effect. I think personally that immigration should be allowed if:-
the people are in imminent life-threatening danger in their home countries
they can provide REAL value to British citizens, be that in the form of professional expertise (top-drawer medical researcher) or fulfilling a NEED of the BRITISH people (eg nurses)
Once "in" immigrants should be places in work immediately and be proven to be paying taxes. They should not be allowed to marry or have children for 3 years. Harsh….? MY FUCKING ARSE. This allows them to:-
integrate FIRST before starting a family…which means we don’t end up with pathetic rioting (Birmingham) and single ethnicity towns (Luton?).
b) Contribute to OUR ecomomy 1st! By paying taxes they would earn the respect of British citizens. By proving that they were contributing we would end the massive exodus of uk £ abroad to immigrants poor families from their native countries. I heard an example the other day of a massively overweight black lady from Somalia. She entered a NHS hospital and saw a physiotherapist regarding back pains and sores on her lower back. She was an immigrant and received benefit.The woman wanted a social worker to come round and clean her back and flat as she found it difficult.
The physio told her to lose some weight and that she couldn’t have any aid.
FOR FUCK SAKE!!!!!!!

She comes over, uses money iv given her from MY taxes to get fat, and then goes to an NHS funded by British Citizens to ask for help to wipe her back and tidy the flat which was given to her by the council, while 1st time house buyers cant find a thing. Tell me where’s the justice in that?
On the subject of Fox hunting. Here’s my 2 cents. They banned fox hunting, which has meant that the main way farmers are now controlling foxes with shotguns (rifles are expensive, licenses tricky to obtain and storage and shooting can be difficult). Now a shotty is fine for the job if you are using the right shot (no. 3’s) but most farmers just take the opportunity to nab mr Reynard when he presents himself. Farmers use no. 6 Shot (its got a better spread for taking the other vermin like crows, magpies etc). Unfortunately no.6 is like kicking a fox in the teeth and cutting him up with a razor blade. He will die, but it’ll take about 12 hours. Now if you were a fox what would you prefer? Running for your life and if you get caught, fuck it ur dead in 3 seconds (Hounds like all Dogs attack the neck and snap a foxes pretty damn quick)….or lying in a wood for 12 hours in pain feeling all the blood flow from your veins. It hasn’t been going on for centuries for no reason. Problems occur when fuckers who have detatched themselves the life/death aspect of eating start getting smart arse ideas. How many of those cunts that attack Fox hunts or go on marches regularly sit down at a Sunday roast to eat a joint of Beef? How many of those same people could stomach killing poor Daisy, gutting her and leaving her to hang and cutting the joints? NOT VERY MANY.
I shoot game. Pigeons, rabbits, Pheasants, Partridge. You name it, if it lives in England, is edible and tastes good, iv nabbed one. It all goes back to quality of life. Would you rather be a chicken in a cage who gets ended by a hot metal stick through his neck after seeing his mates get nailed, or a Pheasant allowed to roam freely, live like a king and fly high and fast enough for me to miss (In relaity it could fly slow and low and It would still be alive and well the next day). If only people ENGAGED their grey matter before jumping on the bandwagon we wouldn’t be in the state we are.
Watched on the news the other day about the unfolding tragedy in Africa. Massive aid is needed in order for approximately 11 million people to resist famine. Is that wise?
OK we need to act now. These people cannot be allowed to die. But they cannot be allowed to stay. They must be mover to more fertile lands. Worst case scenario is we feed them and they survive but they stay where they are. THEY STILL LIVE IN A FUCKING DESERT. How long till the next neap of handouts. This problem is only going to get worse with global warming as well. The Sahara is encroaching onto southern Spain because of Bush’s myopic ideas and economics. Economies look after themselves, the planet wont.
Which leads us to the main article. The biggest problem we have in this day and age isnt immigration or climate change or overfishing. It’s the cause of all 3 symptoms. Overpopulation. There are too many people now. With Asia finally catching up we are doomed unless we can impose some sort of population control (difficult, China tried to but look what happened..alleyway abortions, child trading, kidnapping (literally) etc) or have a major human catastrophe. If Bird Flu hits with it s full force we could be looking at reducing the Human population by 1/6-1/2 depending on conditions. This aint all that bad news. Sadly the main fatalities will be the elderly and the young. Who wants to live forever? Sorry nan but the over 80’s are just a drain on resources. We were not designed to live that long. I would give up my life if I knew it would save the planet. Earth is fucking amazing for Christs sake- LIFE IS AMAZING. Lets stop treating the symptoms by buying energy-saving life bulbs and sharing cars. Instead we should be rooting for BIRD FLU!!!!
